A writing assistant in your notch
Side Project
I find myself using LLM's frequently for quick writing edits. Whether it's improving the tone of an email, rewriting a slack message, or some UX copy in figma I find LLM's do a great job of taking my words and making them better. However, the process of copying and pasting, opening a full app or browser, waiting for it to generate, then copying and pasting back is a bit too much friction for such quick tasks.
So I built Typo. My first SwiftUI app, and my first foray into macOS development. Typo lives in your Notch, and can be opened with a quick keyboard shortcut. It uses the OpenAI or Anthropic to generate improved versions of your text, and then copies the result back to your clipboard for easy pasting.
