The Sony WH-1000XM6 feels like a meaningful step up from the XM3s I used for years, mainly thanks to the addition of multi-device Bluetooth and improved battery life, both of which make everyday use noticeably smoother. Noise cancelling remains class leading, easily cutting through commute and office noise without introducing fatigue, and the overall comfort is still excellent for long listening sessions.

Sound quality is clean and balanced out of the box, with enough headroom to tweak in the app if you prefer a bit more character. If you are coming from older XM models, this is a practical, quality of life upgrade that just quietly does everything better.
